Genshin Impact fans were greeted with a new leak a few days ago, and they finally got to see the visuals of the highly anticipated character Yelan.

If you have been following Genshin Impact leaks recently, you might be well aware of the fact that Yelan's renders were leaked a few days ago. Now ever since the character was leaked, fans have been eagerly waiting for its arrival. Earlier it was believed that Fu Hua from Honkai would be coming to Genshin as Yelan. However, the leaked visuals portray a different story altogether and it seems like we could be a character that actually looks even better than Fu Hua.

Genshin Impact Fans Are Angry About Yelan Being Possibly Censored

Amidst all the hype, a large section of the community is worried that Yelan has actually been censored even before its release. Many fans have raised that the character looks quite different from the ones miHoYo has released in the past, and the developers have ensured that the characters are designed in a different fashion so that they don't have to censor it after release.

Fans have noted that the character's appearance draws striking similarities to the alternate outfits we have received lately, and many are worried that this could be a trend with miHoYo going forward. In fact, one fan goes on to say that this will be the last time they will be buying a Welkin, which further proves how strongly they feel about the change.

Has Yelan actually been censored? Well, it's difficult to say. We haven't seen what it looked like before so we can't really say that miHoYo changed the appearance or wanted to go with this appearance from the beginning.

What remains to be seen is that if miHoYo takes this feedback from fans and makes some tweaks to Yelan.
