While Genshin Impact had an amazing year so far, the game had its fair share of controversies over the months. Earlier this year, there was a widespread outcry against the developers for misrepresentation of indigenous people in the game. Soon after that, Eula's backstory also came under the scanner.

However things heated up a lot during the first anniversary of the event. Considering what an eventful year it has been for the game, fans had quite high expectations. Many expected that they will be getting 100 pulls to celebrate it, but they ended up getting 23 pulls. However, miHoYo did ramp up the rewards significantly towards the end, adding a free glider and much more.

Genshin Impact Fans Unhappy Over miHoYo "Forcing" To Buy Twitch Subs

Genshin Impact fans are disappointed once again, and this time it is due to one of the events that is going on in the game. If you have been following the game lately, you might be well aware of the "Adventurers' Guild on Twitch" event which kicked off recently. The KFC glider was added to the game earlier this year, but it was only limited to one region. This event allowed players from all across the world to get it. So what is the fuss all about?

Well, the fuss is about the redemption process of the KFC Glider. In order to get the KFC Glider, players need to buy a Twitch sub for a streamer who is participating in the event. This is the only process with which players can get access to the KFC Glider.

This didn't go down quite well with the fans, who are unhappy with the redemption process. Considering that players in China got it pretty much for free since it was complimentary with a combo meal, the fact that they have to pay $10 for a Twitch sub to get the glider is something which the community wants to be addressed. Whether miHoYo changes this remains to be seen.
