Genshin Impact Final Closed Beta Registration Opens for PS4
Genshin Impact is slowly getting closer to a release date announcement as the Final Closed Beta registrations starts on PS4, PC and smartphones.
miHoYo announced the final closed beta test for its open world online action RPG Genshin Impact. This beta will be special: it will be available not only on PC and mobile, but on PS4 as well. One of the beta’s objective is to test the cross-platform coop system. You can register on the official site here.
The Genshin Impact final closed beta will launch in Q3 2020. The game is coming in 2020 on PC, PS4, iOS and Android. A Switch version was announced as well but without the 2020 release time frame.
Genshin impact is set in the fantasy world of Teyvat, featuring a protagonist (male or female) looking for their family. It’s an open-world game focusing on adventure, multiple playable characters, action battles with elemental weaknesses, and an engaging story. Genshin Impact producer Hugh Tsai also mentioned this final beta test will feature an even further improved version of the game, thanks to the feedback from the second beta test held in March 2020. A detailed schedule for the final Genshin Impact closed beta test will be published at a later date by miHoYo.
Genshin Impact was announced back in June 2019. It will be free-to-play and “fair to the players” in terms of monetization. The game features a Chinese dub, a Japanese dub (check out the main cast here) and an English dub. Genshin Impact is different from an MMORPG, with how you’re free to enjoy the game the way they want, alone or with friends and strangers, whenever you feel like it. The game will end up adding a guild-like system at some point for those who enjoy coop.
Along with the one featured above, which was drawn by Jam (Zamuchi), two new key visuals have been published as well:
