Genshin Impact Labyrinth Warriors Event Guide, Team Comps, Tips
Tips and quick strategy guide for Labyrinth Warriors, the big Genshin Impact Version 2.2 Event with Childe (Tartaglia) and Xinyan in Inazuma.
The biggest event in Genshin Impact Version 2.2, Labyrinth Warriors, is here, with a cool story featuring Xinyan and Childe, here are some tips and team comps strategy advice to help you clear Part 1 / Trial 1, The Ominous Demesne.
How to unlock Labyrinth Warriors, schedule, how to play
First you’ll need to have cleared the Inazuma Archon Story Quest. Next, you need to trigger the quest A Tricky Situation. You trigger it by speaking with the Katheryne in Inazuma City.
The quest is a succession of cutscenes featuring Xinyan, and will guide you into your first run of Labyrinth Warriors. The event might seem complicated at first, but it’s basically a succession of rooms with traps and mobs, and where you can’t use food to heal yourself.
Each room has different features, and you can most notably draw Charms for permanent boosts until your run ends. You’ll have to pick your Charms carefully depending on your playstyle. Golden charms are rarer, much stronger and should be prioritized.
You can also heal in certain rooms, or switch party members with your 4 reserve members picked at the beginning of a run.
Besides Xinyan and Childe, the event’s story has some really cool scenes with Sara as well. Each new trial of the event unlocks as the days go by, and will add more story elements. It’s likely more Inazuma characters will appear.
The Labyrinth Warriors event in Genshin Impact Version 2.2 will last until November 8 at 03:59 AM Server Time.

Genshin Impact Event Labyrinth Warriors part 1 – The Ominous Demesne Tips
This is the first trial of the event, going for 2 floors. Pretty much all of the light-weighted mobs in the game will spawn in the rooms, including the brand new Rifthound monsters, and the final bosses are Ruin Graders. However, you won’t encounter any Fatui with elemental barriers, so you don’t need to worry about which elements are in your party.
As for which Shikifuda to pick. There is no good or bad answer here, it all depends on which character you brought along. You can bring up to three Shikifuda, and use them each three times per run. There are ways to replenish them during a run though, and you can upgrade their max limit.
Note that the game pauses when you open the Shikifuda menu during battle, so don’t worry about having to make quick decisions.
Next, as for which character to bring, you should be picking your strongest characters regardless of their Vision, seeing there is no Fatui Elemental barriers you need to be wary of in this trial. I definitely recommend bringing a shield maker, and obviously Zhongli makes everything trivial if you have him. Bringing Venti or another crowd control Anemo character will make the trial a breeze too. If it feels too difficult, bring your Barbara alongside a shield maker.
As you go through the rooms, be sure to “Investigate” every shining objects between crates, boxes, etc. Most of the time it’ll just be vegetables, but you can also get packs of 30 Damaged Replica.
Damaged Replica and the other currencies you keep after finishing a run can be used to buy permanent upgrades for the event in the Charm Magic menu. Most notably, you can limit the amount of Cursed Fields per trial. I definitely recommend getting this first.
Venti can most notably charge his E to fly over Cursed Fields so he’s by far the best character you can bring. If a character is cursed, you’ll be unable to heal them until reaching the next floor, so be careful.
Can you get Xinyan for free in the Event right now?
Xinyan will only be unlockable for free several days into the event, when the Path of the Taishou sub quest of the event will be available. You can’t get her for now. This is the same as in any Event with a free character so far.
That’s pretty much all you need to know about Labyrinths Warriors for now. The event has tons of rewards, including a new Crown of Insight, be sure to grab it. Stay tuned as we’ll publish more guides once the other trials unlock.
