In-game footage of one of Genshin Impact's upcoming playable heroes has surfaced on Reddit. User u/rice guardian, who the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit identifies as a Reliable source, shared two brief videos in the last 24 hours showing four-star hero Baizhu swapping in and out of two separate teams during in-game combat.

Baizhu is not a brand-new character to MiHoYo's ultra-popular MMO game, as he has been around since Genshin Impact 1.0, running Bubu Pharmacy in the Sea of Clouds area in Liyue and serving as a guardian to the unfortunately zombified Qiqi, an already-playable, sword-weilding Cryo hero who was put on the roster in fall 2020. However, the developer has already announced that Baizhu will be joining the roster of playable characters as a four-star hero in the upcoming version 3.6 update, which is currently scheduled for April 12.

The leaked videos are brief, at 35 and 31 seconds, respectively, and the longer of the two definitely reveals more of the next four-star hero in line for Genshin Impact, zooming in for a close-up on one of his Dendro specials as he teams up with Xingqiu, Cyno, and the masculine version of the Traveler.

There's not much more to the second and shorter video as far as leaks are concerned, as the player is switching between the characters rather rapidly, and Baizhu barely manages two seconds of screen time, with Cyno taking up the majority of the spotlight.

In terms of the game's lore, Dr. Baizhu is in very poor health himself, requiring him to go home and rest after tending to his patients with a smile.

Genshin Impact fans seem excited to add Baizhu to their rosters, with some YouTubers referring to him as a "must-pull." That should be welcoming news to the powers that be in the HoYoVerse, as the most recent update earlier this month brought with it premium five-star hero Dehya, a Pyro-type tank who many consider to be among the worst characters on the playable roster.
