miHoYo is holding yet another Web Event in Genshin Impact, the Mysterious Voyage, and this time it has a little bit more consistency than usual, and even includes a short rhythm game.

To access the Mysterious Voyage Web Event, you can jump straight over here but keep in mind, the first thing you need to do is make sure you log into the right server or you’ll end up receiving the event’s rewards on a different save. Unless you’re playing on multiple servers, you’ll get the error message “The game cannot be started because you have yet to reach Adventure Rank 10” if you got the wrong server anyway.

Now that’s taken care of, I’ve got some tips to keep in mind and help you get through the event. Don’t worry, it’s extremely simple in the pure tradition of past Web Events.

Genshin Impact Web Event Mysterious Voyage – Introduction

Basically, Mysterious Voyage is yet another clicker game, where you sail your boat and trigger various events depending on your decisions. The game starts off with a tutorial explaining the first thing you need to do is set a destination to sail to in the sail menu. You’ll trigger different events depending on where you’re going.

Moreover, you’ll also be asked to pick some choices during the events which will further influence your destination. Don’t worry about which choice you already picked or not, the game will keep track for you.

Overall, you need to pick as many different choices as possible to trigger different events and unlock all the areas. Each threshold of areas unlocked will net you rewards including Primogems.

Genshin Impact Web Event Mysterious Voyage – Recharging your Energy

Sailing requires Energy and there are several tasks you can fulfil each day to refill that. So just like past Web Events, you’ll have to log in every day to be sure you’ll get all the rewards.

These tasks are mainly things like logging into the actual game, sharing links, etc. Keep in mind when sharing links that you just need to click any of the three share methods and you’re done. No need to actually share anything.

Violent Storms Incoming, Defend Your Boat – Rhythm game in the Web Event

Some events will trigger a rhythm game where you need to click on circles that show up on-screen with the right timing just like Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan or Elite Beat Agents.

  • YAE MIKO – Niche roles from her voice actress Ayane Sakura

This particular part is actually fun to play, and you can also share your score on social media whenever you’re done with a stage. As far as I know, after testing it out, your score in the Rhythm Game does not influence the rewards of the Web Event.

Each note has a small phrase written at the bottom of the screen corresponding to a smaller incident akin to “Quick, Paimon is about to become sea emergency food! Grab her so she doesn’t fall off the boat”. Don’t read these, they disappear way too fast anyway. Just focus on the rhythm game.

The event will end on July 20. Genshin Impact is launching its Version 2.0 update with Inazuma on July 21.

Personally, I’m pretty excited to see what kind of story elements await, and what kind of character the Raiden Shogun will turn out like. You can reach out to me on Twitter @A_iyane07 if you’d like to discuss Genshin Impact stuff.
