Genshin Impact guide and mascot Paimon shared yet another exclusive artwork on her Twitter account this February 2, 2022, this time to celebrate Twin Tails Day.

Paimon has her own Japanese Twitter account, and the PR team at miHoYo regularly uses it to share witty anecdotes, Genshin Impact-related photos, and exclusive illustrations. These artworks are often modeled after the theme of the day on Japanese Twitter, and February 2 is known as Twin Tails Day.

Twin Tails Day is celebrated by Japanese otaku, sharing fanart and cosplay of characters with twin tails, also called pigtails in the US. Fans share thousands of fanart and cosplay using the "Twin Tails Day" hashtag on Twitter, as many popular and iconic characters such as Rin Tohsaka from the Nasuverse sport the hairstyle.

This February 2022 in particular, the hashtag was drowned by fanart and cosplay of Daiwa Scarlet, the iconic twin tails character in Cygames' popular mobile game Uma Musume.
