miHoYo just published its usual Demo trailer for another new character, the Raiden Shogun releasing with Genshin Impact Version 2.1 Floating World Under The Moonlight - you might want to skip watching that altogether if you have an Epilepsy history.

The new trailer for The Raiden Shogun, with her being the Electro Archon, is themed around lightning. With copious amounts of colored flashes in it. The first half of the trailer is relatively tame as it showcases her Normal Attack / Auto Attack and Elemental Skill / E. However, the second half when Raiden whips out the Musou no Hitotachi / Q uses several flashing lights of various colors, in rapid succession.

It's definitely not as bad as stuff such as the Cyberpunk 2077 ripperdoc headset thing. Back when the CD Projekt game catastrophically launched on anything but a high-end PC such as the one owned by Sakurai. But you should be warned before watching the trailer.

In fact, miHoYo itself included an Epilepsy warning in the YouTube description of the Raiden Shogun Demo Trailer. I believe it would have been best to include the warning at the beginning of the video itself though. Just like the warning appearing when you launch Genshin Impact or several games in general. Such as Eternal Arcadia on Dreamcast to take the first example that comes to mind. Plus, I don't trust at least 1/3 of the Genshin English and USA player base to read a YouTube description. Or to even read anything period. So actually including the warning in the video would've been best.

In any case, be sure to take care of yourself and it's best to be safe than sorry. You don't need to watch this trailer at all. This is the usual cool character showcase. This isn't a story trailer, nor an actual character abilities breakdown. The usual Collected Miscellany video narrated by Dainsleif (Kenjiro Tsuda in Japanese) will be coming soon. On the day Raiden releases on September 1. Together with Version 2.1. Click here for the maintenance's schedule.
