Yesterday, Xbox’s Larry Hryb announced via Twitter that Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved have been added to Xbox One via Backward Compatibility.

The news came via the following tweet:

For those that don’t know: Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved are multidirectional shooters. The aforementioned is from series creator Bizarre Creations before Activision shut it down, while the later is the first game in the series after said shutdown, from developer Lucid Games.

Both games were received quite well critically, especially Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, which has a score of 90 on Metacritic/OpenCritic.
