Players can now bring Henry Cavill and his Geralt armor into The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Netflix-inspired mods.
Season 2 of The Witcher hit Netflix and rocked its popularity charts, quickly rising as one of the platform's most viewed shows. Now faced with another months-long hiatus as Season 3 develops, many fans have turned back to the iconic CD Projekt Red games to get their Witcher fix.
Now, if you couldn't get enough of the Netflix show, Nexus Mods modder WitcherSeb has created the perfect addition to the Wild Hunt game. Fans can now outfit Geralt in-game with clothes and armor from the live-action series, adding an extra touch of Henry Cavill flair.
THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT NETFLIX CAST MOD
The Witcher live-action series had taken a number of creative liberties with the franchise, including the character's costumes. Incorporating more iron, studded fabric, and different silhouettes, the series gave Geralt a fashionably imposing look.
Following that, modder WitcherSeb has brought those outfits into the game with their "Henry Cavill Netflix Clothes" mod. The mod replaces the starter Kaer Morhen armor, showing off the heavy studded leather of the Netflix show. Originally, the Kaer Morhen armor utilized a lighter color palette, opting for silvery chainmail and gray padding. As a result, the slimmer silhouette made Geralt look lighter on his feet. Now, with the intense black metal and armor, he looks all the more fearsome.
Additionally, the mod replaces Geralt's casualwear, again opting for a darker look. While the game has Geralt adorn light, white fabrics, the Netflix show dressed him in a fitted black shirt. As expected, it goes perfectly with the darker armor.
As you can see, WitcherSeb has also created a mod to replace Geralt's face with Henry Cavill's. Now, fans of the show can run around the Continent and slay enemies as the live-action persona. Seeing potion effects manifest in-game as the darker eyes adds a more drastic element to in-game action, which only makes the already adventure-intense game more exciting.
