Many Disney fans and Wii owners were floored by what they saw from the upcoming title Epic Mickey. This game takes you to a darker side of the Disney universe akin to the Island of Misfit Toys. In Wasteland, players use Mickey to help fix the problems that he himself caused. This game is an action-adventure that puts players into a whole new realm of the massive Disney empire, but anyone who was at E3 already knows this. So here is the news, Epic Mickey will be presented in a panel discussion at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con. This panel will take place on July 24 at four thirty p.m. in the San Diego Convention Center’s Room 9.

The games designer Warren Spector from Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point and Peter David, author of the Disney Epic Mickey “Tales of Wasteland” will be on hand to discuss what it took to take Wasteland from paper to virtual reality. The panel will not only include discussion and gameplay footage, but also a sneak peak at artwork and the upcoming comics. So if you are itching to see more about this upcoming Wii title, be sure to tune into any source of Comic-Con coverage, or to learn more about the game itself click here.
