Residents of Santa Monica looking forward to the upcoming Wii U exclusive Splatoon have an exciting event to look forward to.

Nintendo has announced the Splatoon Mess Fest, which will be held at California's Santa Monica Pier Parking Deck on Friday, May 15th from 11AM to 7PM. The event will feature "celebrities" competing in a Splatoon themed obstacle course, and of course playable builds of Splatoon. There will also be giveaways of some sort. We should expect more information, like exactly which celebrities will appear, a bit closer to the event.
