Get Ready to Die a Whole Bunch; Super Meat Boy Heading to PS4 and PS Vita in October

Released back in 2010 to critical acclaim, the notoriously-difficult old-school platformer Super Meat Boy is finally on its way over to the PlayStation platforms and the wait won’t be too much longer at all.

The PlayStation website has revealed a release date of October 6th, 2015 for the PS4 and PS Vita releases of Super Meat Boy – no official word from developer Team Meat or PlayStation has come just yet, it’s a good indication that the title will be coming to both platforms soon.

Developer Team Meat previously announced that the PS4 and PS Vita versions of Super Meat Boy would debut as part of PlayStation Plus, and while no word has come just yet of the title’s expected to arrive on the Instant Game Collection in October, the date falls in line with new PS Plus titles usually arriving on the first Tuesday of the month: stay tuned for more official confirmation in the meantime.

Super Meat Boy is currently available on Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and Linux – the PS4 and PS Vita versions are expected to arrive on October 6th, 2015.
