Get Trophies for Waking Up Next Week on PS Vita

It has finally happened, gamers will be able to trick themselves into waking up each morning to get up for some trophies starting next week when the free app, Wake-Up Club, is released for PlayStation Vita.

Wake-Up Club makes use of the Vita’s alarm clock function and tries to make the experience of waking up more social by grouping twelve random players with alarms set at the same time. Players’ avatar will bounce on the Vita’s touchscreen when the alarm goes off and players must tap on their avatar to confirm they are awake. Gamers will be able to check stats such as consecutive times waking up and average time it takes to get up.

While it is an interesting use and shows support for a wide variety of applications, Wake-Up Club is a quirky app that will definitely see trophy hunters and those looking for ways to trick themselves awake as their primary audience. Then again who can say no to something that is free.
