Apparently NewEgg.com has inadvertently announced that the new wireless N network adapter releases today. Just in time for those Modern Warfare 2 folk ready to game without worrying about tripping over some darn Ethernet cable. The official Microsoft adapter will be $99.99, which uses model number PHD-00001. It should increase wireless speed, range and security, compared to the original network adapter.

Here are the specs:

  • Dual Band
  • 5GHz: 1×2 (802.11a & 802.11n)
  • 2.4GHz: 2×2
  • 2(Tx)x 2(Rx)
  • 7x faster than ‘G’
  • 2x the range of ‘G

Click here to see where the news broke, and where you can buy your adapter.
