If you're still on a high after seeing the mighty samurai Jin in action at Sony's State of Play, we are all right there with you. In the almost 20-minute presentation, we saw a deeper look into the game's exploration, combat, and customization mechanics. It was one hell of a presentation in which we saw the protagonist, Jin Sakai, making his way through its outstanding world whilst also getting to see some combat and the different ways you can take enemies down. In honor of the wandering samurai, Chris Hawtin has put together an incredible Ghost of Tsushima motion poster that director Akira Kurosawa would be proud of.

Chris is a 24-year-old graphic designer and writer who loves to put together motion posters for games that include The Last of Us Part II.  Chris states "I have produced and will continue to do so over the coming weeks, posters for my favorite games of this generation, capturing the theme, the aesthetic and the feel of those titles, while also looking to build in motion elements to further encapsulate the viewer into their worlds." In this particular poster, we see Ghost of Tsushima's protagonist, Jin Sakai, holding a mask while leaves fall in a striking black and white color scheme. Above the samurai, and just like a movie poster, we notice the characters listed who star in the game and also Japanese lettering to the side in red which gives the poster a beautiful contrast to its grayscale finish.

This would look great as a screen-saver on your desktop, your mobile phone, or even just put into a frame without the movement - it's really that versatile. Chris has done an amazing job at capturing the strength, power and also the softer side to Ghost of Tsushima. If you would like to check out more of Chris' artistic talents, you can pop over to his Twitter or his personal website.

As we draw closer to its release, you may want to free up some space on your PS4's hard drive. Ghost of Tsushima will require players to have a minimum of 50GB ready for Jin to do his thing but also keep in mind, that it could need more space on launch day with a day one patch. In an interview with IGN, Game Director Nate Fox talked about the game's difficulty and stated that “We are trying to make a grounded game in that sense, so a couple blows from the enemy will kill you,” Fox said. “We watched samurai movies and people go down with one or two strikes, and that is embedded inside of the combat. Beating the Mongols in battle will be hard, but it’s that challenge that makes it feel alive and the victory rewarding. You can’t just run into a camp and fight 5 people at the same time, you will get overwhelmed and die.” Although later, we also found out that you can change these settings to suit your own playstyle better so if you don't enjoy getting your ass kicked hard, you can do something about it.

Ghost of Tsushima is slated to launch on July 17, 2020, and will be a PS4 exclusive. If you want to pre-order the game through Amazon, you can do so here.
