Ghost Recon Breakpoint Is Available to Play for Free Until July 20

As of today, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will be available for free on PS4, Xbox One, and PC until next Monday.

Ubisoft celebrates the recent addition of AI teammates to Ghost Recon Breakpoint with a free weekend available for all of the game’s platforms until July 20.

Earlier this week, Ubisoft officially delivered AI teammates to Ghost Recon Breakpoint nearly nine months after the game’s launch back in October 2019. From now on, you will be able to go through the different missions in Breakpoint with up to three AI companions whom you can control over the mission and during various situations.

Generally, there will be five different orders available to control your AI teammates. They will attempt to approach the objectives depending on their class and weapons. However, if anything unfortunate happens to you during operation, your revival will be the main target for all of your AI companions. Moreover, you can customize your teammates’ loadout and appearance as well.

Unlike Wildlands, Ghost Recon Breakpoint didn’t experience a successful launch. The game was criticized for its poor AI and mediocre story-telling. Besides, it didn’t even meet the financial expectations of Ubisoft in the case of sales. That said, Breakpoint now seems to be a better game with some of its major issues fixed over the months after its release. So, it might be a great opportunity to dive into the game for free this weekend and give it a shot.

The free weekend is now live on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it will be continued until July 20th. During the free weekend period, you will have access to the full game with all of its features. If you attempt to purchase the game after the free weekend, your progress will be moved to your own game.

It’s worth noting that If you play on PC or Stadia, you can subscribe to Uplay+ and get access to over 100 Ubisoft titles including Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
