After quietly revealing a new teaser website last week that seemed to point to a new reveal related to Ghost Recon, Ubisoft has today confirmed that this is exactly what will be happening later in the week.In a new tweet from the official Ghost Recon Twitter account, it was made official that Ubisoft will be debuting a new trailer for what looks to be a new Ghost Recon game this week. The reveal is set to take place on Thursday, May 9, at 2:30pm EST/11:30am PST.As for what this reveal will be of, well, we don't really know at the moment. Considering the way that Ubisoft is hyping this up, you'd have to imagine it will be for an entirely new game in the Ghost Recon series and not just add-on content to the franchise's latest installment Wildlands. Ghost Recon Wildlands sold incredibly well when it first launched in 2017 so a proper sequel would probably be a logical move for Ubisoft. Then again, maybe this new Ghost Recon title could be more akin to past games like Advanced Warfighter or Future Solider. There's a lot left to learn here, but the prospects of whatever will be shown are quite intriguing. So what do you think this announcement will be? And does the potential of a new Ghost Recon game excite you at all? Be sure to let me know in the comments. We'll, of course, share the news of this reveal once it transpires later in the week.
