The PlayStation 5 timed console exclusive Ghostwire: Tokyo could be coming to Xbox Series X|S next year, as new artwork on the wall of Bethesda's publishing HQ in London has hinted at such. The artwork features a list of platforms for Ghostwire: Tokyo, listing PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S and was spotted by Twitter user Klobrille.Bethesda previously had a deal with Sony to make some of their new titles timed exclusives on PlayStation consoles, but now that these deals are coming to an end, titles such as Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo are making their way to Xbox platforms. Deathloop was recently released on Xbox Series X|S as its timed exclusivity with PlayStation came to an end. Unfortunately for Ghostwire: Tokyo fans, the timed exclusivity deal won't be coming to an end until March of 2023.

It should come as no surprise to fans that Ghostwire: Tokyo could be making its way to Xbox Series X|S, as Microsoft acquired Bethesda Studios early last year. The studio has already been hard at work developing Starfield, one of Bethesda's largest games that will be an Xbox-exclusive title at launch.

Developed by Tango Gameworks, Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure game that emphasizes psychic and paranormal abilities with fast-paced combat. Players hunt ghosts and spirits surrounding Tokyo, as they upgrade their abilities by collecting spirit points and resources throughout a challenging pathway. The development team was also inspired by Japanese martial arts to add various movements, which make the combat even more action-oriented. Although Ghostwire: Tokyo did not fare as well on PS5 as Deathloop, 86% of all-time Steam reviews are currently very positive.

It is safe to say that if the new wall Ghostwire: Tokyo wall art in Bethesda's London Studio is anything to go by, Microsoft isn't wasting any time in launching the title on Xbox Series X|S. The action RPG is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
