Motiga and Perfect World Entertainment are prepping for the official launch of their third person MOBA Gigantic, which is currently in beta on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. While no official release date has been announced for Gigantic, the team is expected to have the game out of beta by the end of the month.

The team has explained their plans, both short and medium term. As it stands right now, players that want to take part in the game have to play it on Xbox One or Windows 10. However the team is bringing the game to the ARC platform, which will allow players who don’t have Windows 10 the ability to play on machines running Windows 7. With this switch, players will still be able to play with their friends on Xbox One and Windows 10. In order to play the game of the ARC platform, players will have to download the client and create a new account if they don’t already have one.

A major update for Gigantic is currently in the works that will bring hero balance changes and loads of polish and bug fixes. The user interface is also getting a new face lift to make the game look a little more aesthetically pleasing. In addition to the major update, Gigantic will be getting a revamped tutorial to help out new players. Bot matches are also being added, which should be a welcomed addition as these will help new players and seasoned players practice with new heroes before taking them out to the battlefield.

Lastly, the game will also be getting in game voice chat across both Xbox One and PC. This is a pretty neat feature and should have been included during the beta, but its good to see the team bringing it when the game officially launches.

Gigantic is currently in beta and available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The game is scheduled to leave beta at the end of the month.
