Gintama Rumble for PS4 Gets Extensive Trailer Showing Featrues, Gameplay and Characters

Bandai Namco Entertainment showcases the features and the cast of Gintama Rumble in depth with an extensive trailer.

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia released a new trailer in English of the upcoming anime samurai fighting game dedicated to the Gintama series, Gintama Rumble.

The video, that you can enjoy below, gives an extensive overview on the gameplay and features of the upcoming title, most of which have been kept under wraps until now.

On top of that, we get another look at the playable characters, protagonist Gintoki Sakata, Shimpachi Shimura, Kagura, Kotaro Katsura, Shinsuke Takasugi, Tsukuyo, Kamui, Isao Kondo, Toshiro Hijikata, Sougo Okita, Nobume Imai. More popular characters from the series and even bosses will be summonable as assist characters.

Three modes will be available, Gintama Chronicles is a story mode split into eight chapters and inspired by the anime, with additional side stories. Gintama Free Battle lets you play any mission you have already completed with any character. Kabukicho Ultimate Rumble is an original story written just for the game.

Gintama Rumble will release in both Japan and Asia on January 18th, and the Asian version will include English subtitles, granting everyone the ability to play the game even if they don’t understand any Japanese.

The Japanese version will launch for PS4 and PS Vita, while the Asian release will release exclusively for PS4.
