Can You Find Giovanni In Pokemon GO In October 2021?

October 12, 2021

Since they were added to Pokemon GO back in 2019, Team GO Rocket have become a pivotal part of the game.

The antagonists have their own events, take over Pokestops, fly overhead in hot air balloons and often play a part in Field and Special Research.

After defeating each of the three different Rocket Leaders, players would usually earn the right to go head to head with the Rocket Boss, Giovanni, however, he has been rather hard to come by recently.

Let’s take a look if you can find Giovanni in Pokemon GO in October 2021, and if so, what Pokemon he has with him.

Can You Find Giovanni In Pokemon GO In October 2021?

Unfortunately, the short answer is no.

Giovanni last appeared with Shadow Ho-Oh back in June of this year. He was appearing from June 17 to September 1, however, has gone back into hiding since then. It’s likely he’ll reappear soon.

What’s Next For Giovanni?

Giovanni seems to be following a pattern with the Shadow Legendary Pokemon that he has.

He has already ticked off Kanto’s Legendary Bird trio of Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, as well as Mewtwo.

He’s also had Johto’s three Legendary Dogs, Entei, Suicune and Raikou, as well as most recently, Shadow Ho-Oh. If this pattern is to continue, in Giovanni’s next appearance, he’ll have a Shadow Lugia with him, a Pokemon which will likely be very difficult to take down.

Be sure to stay tuned to DualShockers when the Rocket Boss resurfaces as we’ll have all the information you’ll need to go toe to toe with him.
