Give in to Your Inner Scene Kid With These New Rock Band Tracks

on December 23, 2011 4:00 PM

I’m willing to wager there are handfuls of former scene kids now in their late 20s and early 30s who’ll scoff at the newest Rock Band downloadable offerings and mutter, “Psh. I knew about those guys before Fall Out Boy broke up.” Well, it’s time to get off that purple-hoodie-wearing high horse and check out the Fueled By Ramen Track Pack, Mr. Benzedrine.

The track pack includes Cobra Starship’s “You Make Me Feel” from Night Shades and “Stereo Hearts” from Gym Class Heroes’ The Papercut Chronicles II among others. Four more songs from the label’s extensive and trendy catalog join us after the jump.

Paramore’s “Pressure,” “I Write Sins Not Tragedies” by Panic! at the Disco, “”Panic” by Sublime with Rome and Travie McCoy’s “Billionaire” round out the list of Rock Band DLC this week. The entire six-song pack is yours for $10 (800 Microsoft Points) or $1.99 (160 MP) individually.

The whole enchilada is called the Fueled By Ramen Track Pack 01, which suggests there might be more of these in the future. Anyone else holding out hope for a Midtown track pack as a tribute to Cobra Starship frontman Gabe Saporta’s beginnings? No? Just me, then?

Fine. I’m done with the scene arms race, anyway.

The Fueled by Ramen Track Pack 01 debuts on the Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 Dec. 27, just in time for you to blow that post-Christmas return and exchange cash. Sorry, Europe: You’ll have to wait until Jan. 3 to get yo’ fangs up.
