Assassin's Creed: Odyssey is among the nominees for the Oustanding Video Game category at the 30th GLAAD Media Awards.
The annual awards season is in full swing and is infiltrating just about every aspect of media. The Games Awards went off without a hitch recently, and movie-goers have just received word on which flicks will be duking it out for an Oscar later this year. But that’s not all because the GLAAD Media Awards is also just around the corner.
Celebrating its 30th year, the GLAAD Media Awards focuses on positive portrayals of LGBT+ characters and storylines within movies, comics, TV, documentaries, and many other forms of media. It was announced last September that the ceremony would be introducing a video game category for the first time in its long history.
More recently, the official lineup on nominees for Outstanding Video Game was unveiled on GLAAD’s official website sporting some heavy hitters. The category sees five games included which span from AAA titles to mobile games.
