Batman: Arkham City features an engrossing world that not only incorporates engrossing visuals but uses intuitive sound design to make players feel like they are in the world. Prior to the May 29th release of Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released a behind the scenes video providing insight into the work of the sound design for the game.

The video features an inside look from professionals on the game, including game director Sefton Hill and foley artist John Roesch. Players will get a look at how foley artists are able to create the sound of beating up Mister Freeze and see how the sound of live gunfire is captured for an urban environment at the famous Warner Bros. Studio.

Players will be able to pick up Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition on May 29th in North America. This version includes all the previous DLC and the upcoming Harley Quinn’s Revenge Pack. Fans that own the original game will be able to purchase this DLC on the same day for $9.99 on PSN or 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360.

Those looking forward to more content or just enjoy tying people on to a gargoyle upside down will definitely want to check out this version of the game or new DLC when it is released later this month.
