Which Pokemon Can Learn Special Moves at GO Fest 2021

Niantic has confirmed there are a total of four different Pokemon that can learn a special move at this year’s Pokemon GO Fest.

The first two Pokemon that can learn a special move are the pair of costumed Pikachus – Pikachu Rock Star and Pikachu Pop Star.

Alongside those, two of the event’s most featured Pokemon, Gardevoir and Flygon, will also be able to learn a special move during the event window.

What Moves Can Each of the Pokemon Learn?

Both of the special Pikachus can learn very powerful, and very fitting, special moves.

Pop Star Pikachu learns the Fairy-type move, Draining Kiss, which is very much in keeping with its glamourous style.

Rock Star Pikachu on the other hand learns the Steel-type move, Meteor Mash, something which fans of Metagross know very well.

The other two Pokemon learn their previous Community Day moves, something which players who missed out and don’t have Elite TMs will be grateful for.

This means that Flygon learns the Ground-type move, Earth Power, and Gardevoir the Fairy-type move, Synchronoise.
