The Goblin Slayer anime series is receiving a video game titled Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer: Nightmare Feast. The game will tell an original story and will be available in both Japanese and English on Nintendo Switch and PC.

A release date and other information for Nightmare Feast are not yet announced at the moment. This is the third video game adaption for the Goblin Slayer IP after Goblin Slayer: The Endless Revenge which was released in 2019 for mobile, and Goblin Slayer: Endless Hunting which was just released this past December for browsers.

Judging by the title, the game will likely introduce a new adventurer. The series doesn't exactly revolve around named characters, but instead, introduces classes such as Priestess, Archer, Shaman, Guild Girl and Sword Maiden, not to mention the eponymous Goblin Slayer himself, so perhaps a new class name is on the way.

Also since the game's genre is not specified, we could infer that the game is going to either be an RPG or a tactical RPG. That is due to the theme of the series being about adventurers who are being controlled by gods or game masters like in tabletop RPGs. The story also explicitly says that the fate of the characters is always a "roll of dice away", and makes recurrent references to this concept, so the story might include similar tabletop mechanisms when adapted into a video game.

Goblin Slayer Another Adventurer Nightmare Feast Announcement

Goblin Slayer currently has one anime season that captures the content of the first four light novels, and one sequel movie called Goblin Slayer: Goblin's Crown that adapted the events of the fifth light novel. The series is licensed for English releases through Yen Press, which has published 14 volumes so far out of the 15 available Japanese volumes. The 16th volume of the story is set to release next July in Japan.

The Endless Revenge game has terminated service in 2020, but Endless Hunting is currently available for players worldwide through the link provided by the official account. Just like the name implies, the game allows players to enjoy endless adventures and battles against goblins. Voice actors Goblinslayer Yuuichirou Umehara and Yui Ogura also reprise their roles here as the main characters Goblin Slayer and Priestess.
