Today Bandai Namco showcased new gameplay of God Eater 3 during a livestreamed event from the company's headquarters in Tokyo.

The gameplay showcased for the first time the whole team of characters that have been introduced so far (Hugo, Claire, and Zeke) fighting by the hero's side. We also get to see some lovely artwork in the gallery below. Interestingly, the live footage focused on improvements made to the previous demo that was playable at an event. The elements that were improved include the camera, god machine action, battle, and other miscellaneous tweaks.

We also learn that there will be an event in Tokyo on September 2nd in which fans will be able to experience a new demo showcasing the game's multiplayer. We see a glimpse of that that demo in the second to last clip below against the aragami Barbaros.

You can check out the gameplay below, alongside the full stream. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy another recent batch of direct-feed screenshots, and some footage showing gameplay from an event held in Tokyo a few weeks ago.

God Eater 3 will launch in Japan and in the west this year for PS4 and PC. The PS4 version can be pre-ordered via Amazon.
