God Eater 3 Gets a New Story Trailer Ahead of Japanese Release
Bandai Namco's God Eater 3 gets a new story trailer featuring plenty of cutscenes excerpts and cool anime-like one-liners from the game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment published today a new story trailer for action RPG God Eater 3. The trailer shows many cutscenes from the game and explains humanity’s struggle against the Aragami, and the Ash Storms, one of the new plot points and threats in this episode.
The trailer also lengthily features Phym, the mysterious horned little girl which seems to be the result of an experiment merging together an Aragami and a human being. The protagonist and their friends were about to fail a mission and face annihilation before being saved by her mysterious powers. Phym is voiced by Rina Endou in Japanese.
You can watch the new story trailer below. I’ve included the Japanese version of the trailer as well for those like me who enjoy Japanese voice-overs. You can also watch the previous trailer, which detailed the game’s weapons, battles, 8 players missions and more. You can also take a look at the game’s spectacular opening animation sequence, by Studio Ufotable, famous for its Tales of and Type-Moon anime adaptations.
God Eater 3 launches this week in Japan, on December 13, for PC and PS4. The game will come to the west on February 6. If you’d like to pre-order the game but haven’t done so yet, you could do it on Amazon.
