Today Bandai Namco hosted the God Eater 8th Anniversary Thanksgiving Day event at its Future Research Institute venue in Tokyo, and we got news about the upcoming JRPG God Eater 3.

First of all, we get a reveal of the platforms for Japan, which are PS4 and PC. Secondly, we also get a trailer showcasing a new character and giving a glimpse on the story and gameplay.

Currently, we don’t have have a release date. Earlier last year we saw a shorter teaser trailer and a few screenshots. We also heard that the game will be released in North America and Europe. Incidentally, the platforms mentioned here are for Japan. The possibility that Bandai Namco will follow up with more platforms for the western markets does exist. If they do, we’ll let you know.

You can check out the trailer below. The first gameplay has also been revealed during the same event, and you can check it out in our dedicated article alongside more information about the game and the new character Hugo.
