Today is already February 4th in Japan, and the date is quite special for God Eater fans. Eight years ago, on February 4th, 2018, the first God Eater was released on the Japanese shelves.

In order to celebrate, the official Twitter account of the series, and Producer Yosuke Tomizawa revealed two version of a special 8th-anniversary logo for the series.

The official account mentions that there are “various developments” planned for this eighth year. For the moment, they will reveal information on the project on Monday.

Tomizawa-san thanked the fans for their support and mentioned that the team will convey its gratitude by devoting themselves more and more to the upcoming God Eater 3 and God Eater: Resonant Ops.

You can check out the logos in the gallery below.

For now, we know that  God Eater 3 is coming to “home consoles” and currently doesn’t have a release date or even a window. We have seen a trailer and a few screenshots, and we heard that it’ll be released in North America and Europe.

The series is also going to come to mobile platforms with the God Eater 2: Rage Burst direct  sequel God Eater: Resonant Ops which promises a full-fledged JRPG on iOS and Android. That being said, we don’t know whether that will come west or not.
