If you're looking for some Kratos action and have been missing the big guy since you rolled credits on 2018’s  God of War, fear not as you can soon pick up a brand new God of War comic series that tells the story between the original trilogy and the 2018 reboot.

After getting delayed last year, American Comic Book and manga publisher Dark Horse Comics will release their much anticipated God of War: Fallen God tomorrow, March 10, and it looks like fans will be exploring the period of Kratos' life after ending Zeus at the end of God of War 3.

According to a preview of the comic by IGN, God of War: Fallen God, a four-issue series, will explore and dissect the gap of time between Kratos' life since killing Zeus and Athena. In the images of the first few pages of the comic we see the torture that Kratos is going through due to his immortality and in desperation, he throws his Blades of Chaos away in a bid to be free but like so many things in Kratos life, he is bound to them. With rage and fury burning within, Kratos "sets sail into the desert in an attempt to distance himself from his home".

Dark Horse's website description for the Fallen God comic states "After conquering Zeus and thwarting Athena, Kratos believes himself to be finally free from his bondage. He sets sail for the desert in an attempt to distance himself from his home and his shame only to find his rage and guilt follow close behind. Kratos rages against the one foe that has proven to be unconquerable—himself. But a war against oneself is unwinnable, and only invites madness."

If you fancy reading God of War: Fallen God for yourself, issue #1 of the comic is out on March 10 for $3.99 from your local comic book store or bought digitally.
