God of War Atreus fans will be happy to hear that they will get to play as the boy soon in a new mod brought to us by Speclizer.
God of War could never be God of War without the hulk of a man that is Kratos but if you have always desired a bit of a change and a different perspective, a new incoming mod may suit you down to the ground.
You'll probably know Speclizer for their incredible out of bounds videos that focus on The Last of Us 2 which delves into its secrets and bountiful easter eggs. This time, in a brand new video, Speclizer takes players on an experience that allows them to play as Atreus in a new action-packed mod that sees the boy get a piece of the action for himself.
As you can see from the video below posted on Speclizers YouTube page, Atreus slips into the shoes of Kratos as he battles the mighty and annoying Baldur. Trying to avoid Baldur's powerful force, Atreus looks like he's having a great time skating around the area as he tries to take down his enemy with arrows.
Speclizer admits that the mod isn't perfect just yet and there are some small issues to iron out before it's available to fans. "As you can see, it is clearly not a smooth experience and it still requires a lot more work before release."
Either way, it looks like it will be a lot of fun and a totally different dynamic for players when it is released. Looking at the comments under the video, it seems as though fans can't wait to get their hands on this cool mod with many saying how sick and cool it looks.
