Though God of War is nearing one year since it released, the game still has managed to leave an amazing impression on those that have played it thanks to its compelling storytelling and challenging gameplay. In fact, it lead to the creation of some incredible LEGO sculpture at the hands of Marius Herrmann.

Herrmann, known for his video game-inspired LEGO creations on social media (Twitter/Instagram), recently delivered an incredible LEGO creation inspired by God of War to Santa Monica Studio, showing Kratos and Atreus  in their boat during an emotional scene from the game.

Santa Monica Studio said that this was "one of the most beautiful fandom inspired works we've ever seen," and invited Herrmann to their studio to install the LEGO creation in their office "for all to see every day, and deservedly so."

To chronicle this, Sony released a new video from Santa Monica Studio featuring Herrmann during his visit to the studio, highlighting his incredible LEGO creation and putting it all together. The video also gives a much closer look at the sculpture itself to show all of the impressive details from the game that Herrmann captured.

God of War has managed to inspire some impressive fan creations in the year since it released, including a fan-made poster for a (potential) sequel and some impressive cosplay, such as this photo of a female cosplayer as Kratos.
