The long-awaited God of War is finally out to the masses today, and while many fans I'm sure are going to dive right into the game today, the game's development team has a heartfelt message to those that have been looking forward to the game for the past few years.

A new video has been released over on the official PlayStation YouTube channel with a message from game director Cory Barlog on the day of God of War's launch on behalf of the game's development team.

Simply, Barlog and the rest of the team provided a thank you to those that have been anticipating the game and looking forward to playing the latest chapter of Kratos' journey, and giving the exceptional reception that the game has received so far, I'm sure it's an experience that many won't forget.
