WARNING: This article may contain very minor spoilers for God Of War RagnarokThe voice actress Maggie Robertson who breathed life into Resident Evil Village's adored Lady Alcina Dimitrescu has also starred in God of War Ragnarok, as she recently revealed in a recent tweet. The actress confirmed that she is among the cast of Santa Monica's magnum opus, which is led by Christopher Judge as Kratos and Sunny Suljic as Atreus.
Maggie Robertson, who received the Performance of the Year at The Game Awards 2021, recently said that she would love to voice a character in God of War or Horizon: Zero Dawn. It appears as though her dreams did come true as she has officially joined her fellow voice actors in God of War Ragnarok, and has now confirmed exactly what character she plays in the recently released title.
Before the game's incredibly successful launch, Robertson tweeted that she "may or may not be a voice of a larger-than-life character in God of War Ragnarok." The voice actress continued to tease fans until she finally revealed that she voiced Skjothendi the Unering, one of the twelve Berserkers in the game. Robertson also shared a gameplay clip where her character fights against Kratos. While Skjothendi cries and shouts during her fight against the God of War, it is a bit difficult to grasp that she is voiced by the very actress who voiced Lady Dimitrescu, the mesmerizingly tall love of the internet.
That being said, there are a great number of fans who figured out the voice actress' secret appearance in God of War Ragnarok. Despite the thrill of the fight and Skjothendi's few quotes, some fans were able to catch Robertson's dominant voice during the battle. "I knew it! I literally just finished fighting this Berserker, and the voice was so familiar to me," says Roxie in her reply to the actress' tweet.
Robertson also takes the chance to thank Sony Santa Monica in her tweet, saying that she was honored to be a part of the project and that it has been a dream come true for her. Alongside her award-winning performances, Robertson also voiced the older Runway, a support character in Rogue Company. While the secret appearance of the Lady Dimitrescu actress did catch the attention of the fans, God of War Ragnarok's incredibly talented cast features Danielle Bisutti as Freya, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Ryan Hurst as Thor, and many more.
