A small yet cool detail from God of War Ragnarok’s trailer has recently been discovered which harks back to God of War 2018.

In August, fans finally got a healthy dose of what's to come in a new God of War Ragnorok trailer. After only getting a small taste last September, Sony Santa Monica's latest showing was, as you'd expect, well received.

Throughout the footage, we got to see a chilly Midgard, a few familiar faces such as Freya and Mimir and an older looking Atreus that was a far cry from the snippet we all saw a year ago. The trailer was packed full of amazing sequences and thrilling areas so it's very easy to miss some subtle details.

Thankfully though, we have the God of War community to help with things like this who always have a keen eye when analyzing all things Kratos and Atreus.

God of War aficionado BT_BlackThunder who is known for their fun memes and Kratos fanart has pointed out an easily missed yet interesting detail from the Ragnorok trailer. Taking a screenshot of Atreus’ quiver, you can make out a drawing that showcases two stick figures, Kratos and Atreus, as they make their journey up Jötunheim which was the final destination at the end of God of War 2018.

It's such a cool placement and something only those who really study these trailers would have got. It also goes to show how much time and effort the Santa Monica dev team have put into Ragnorok and I can't wait to experience it.

God of War Ragnarok will most certainly be a thrilling adventure as players get to experience the aftermath of Atreus' knowledge that he is Loki and what will come with that power when it releases at some stage next year.
