Check out God of War Ragnarok's Playstation product page that delves into some of the game's key features and also a handful of vibrant screenshots.

God of War fans finally got their eyeballs on some fresh Ragnarok goodness at the PlayStation Showcase in September. Picking up a few years after God of War (2018), Kratos, Atreus, and Mimir can be seen in the icy climates of Fimbulwinter as well as providing glimpses of the antagonist’s players will face in GOW Ragnarok: Freya and Thor.

The trailer was packed with juicy details and although Sony Santa Monica is still keeping much of the narrative close to their chests, there were a few interesting and thought-provoking snippets that give viewers something to chew on.

Even though we still have quite a bit of time before Sony Santa Monica's next dive into the franchise hits the shelves in 2022 for PS4 and PS5, the game's product page is now live on PlayStation giving fans a little look at what's to come although not too much is new information in this particular area.

Nevertheless, check out below what the product page says on God of War Ragnarok's game overview.

From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world.

Together, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters.

As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms...

And as for the key features, here's what's listed...

Those who break fate

Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of "Loki" and what role he is to play in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.

Weapons of war

The Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos and Guardian Shield return alongside a host of new abilities for both Kratos and Atreus. As they take on gods and monsters from across the Nine Realms, Kratos's deadly Spartan skills will be tested like never before as he fights to protect his family.

Explore the realms

Journey to dangerous and stunning landscapes and face a wide variety of enemy creatures, monsters and Norse gods as Kratos and Atreus search for answers and allies.

There is also a mix of new screenshots from the title that includes Kratos and Arteus on the boat and the back of the father and son standing in the snow with their wolf as a menacing figure is in the distance.

You can check out more images and details over on the Playstation Product Page. God of War Ragnarok will most certainly be a thrilling adventure as players get to experience the aftermath of Atreus’ knowledge that he is Loki and what will come with that power when it releases at some stage next year.
