God of War’s Kratos Appears on the Front Cover of Men’s Health

Kratos has appeared on the front cover of Men's Health Singapore to show men around the world how to achieve the ‘ultimate dad bod’

God of War is a hot topic right now after clearing up at the BAFTA Awards in London yesterday winning a whole host of prizes that left director Cory Barlog “amazed, overwhelmed, and scared”. But, I think one of the funniest achievements God of War has gotten to date is the buff God himself appearing on the front cover at Men’s Health magazine Singapore.

Men’s Health is a magazine centered around the health and well-being of men where usually you’ll see lots of Hollywood stars gracing the covers with their fit bods on display, so it’s actually quite strange to see Kratos on there this time – Singapore really know how to keep things interesting and break away from the conventional methods previously used. The magazine promises to show men everywhere how they can achieve and build the ‘ultimate dad bod’.

I’m pretty sure that many men around the world would agree that Kratos’ body isn’t the typical physique of dads – it’s usually a little bit softer and cuddlier, maybe with the slight exposure of an adorable muffin top, not some huge bulky, ripped torso of a God! Maybe some of the steps are as follows: Step 1: ask the god of war to give you power – step 2: kill the god of war – step 3: become the god of war – step 4: destroy the Greek pantheon – step 5: grow a beard and move to Norway,  as suggested by Reddit user jakalarf. I don’t know about you, but it seems doable to me.

Kratos certainly seems to get about as it wasn’t too long ago we saw him appear in the hit American trivia show Jeopardy and now here he is on the cover of Men’s Health and BOY does he look good!

The rest of the issue is assigned to show you how you can build the body of fantasy heroes, so Kratos is not alone in being featured in Men’s Health Singapore but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any other pictures to show you due to the online paid subscription needed so if anyone has a copy, shoot it across to DualShockers and we will update the article.

God of War is available now exclusively on PS4. If you have yet to experience the game for yourself, you can pick it up on Amazon right now.
