God of War's Release Date Will Be Announced Soon According to Sony Producer
The Producer in charge of the Japanese localization of God of War thinks that the much-anticipated release date will be announced soon.
If you’re eagerly waiting for the release date of SIE Santa Monica’s God of War for PS4, looks like things will move soon, at least according to Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan and Asia Localization Producer Chris Ashimine.
Ashimine-san is currently in charge on the Japanese localization of the game, and talked to the Japanese Magazine Weekly Famitsu within a large New Year group interview that involved several developers.
While promising a high-quality localization for the Japanese audience, he also mentioned that he believes that the team will be able to announce the release date soon, encouraging fans to look forward to it.
If you want to see more about God of War, you can enjoy a recent trailer, a few images from a couple of weeks ago, a large bunch of info on the combat system shared earlier this month, the latest gameplay presented at Paris Games Week, a trailer showing the Dead Giant Stone Mason, another clip showcasing the enemy creatures named Revenant, a similar video focusing on the Draugr, and one showing off the fire troll. At PlayStation Experience, we also heard that the game will last between 25 and 35 hours, and just a few days ago, the title was showcased briefly at the beginning of Sony’s CES press briefing.
Incidentally, a few weeks ago a possible March 22nd release date was leaked on the North American PlayStation Store, but Sony did not confirm it at PlayStation Experience, so that remains a rumor.
The game will be released exclusively for PS4 in early 2018.
