Kadokawa Games announced that God Wars: The Complete Legend will be releasing on PC via Steam this June.
God Wars: The Complete Legend is a tactical RPG set in ancient Japan and based on Kojiki. God Wars: The Complete Legend is currently available on Nintendo Switch, and is an enhanced version of God Wars: Future Past, which first released on PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4. The additional story content of The Complete Legend is, however, available for free via DLC for owners of the original game on PS4 and Vita.
The Steam version of God Wars: The Complete Legend will support keyboard + mouse controls and include new menu ergonomy enhancements, such as being able to rearrange the order of party members in the menu. The first characters in the list will also be automatically added to the selected deploying characters before a map's start. A patch will also be coming on June to the PS4, Vita and Switch versions to add these menuing additions.
In July 2018, Kadokawa Games also revealed God Wars 2, and how the company is carefully considering player's feedback for it and doesn't rest on its laurels despite the first game's critical success, with over 200,000 copies sold worldwide.
A trailer is available on the Steam page and it includes comments from God Wars: The Complete Legend's Director, Scenarist and Original Story Writer Yoshimi Yasuda, Japanese Actor Shiro Sano who voices God Wars' narrator, and Monster Designer Sawaki Takeyasu.
God Wars also features character designs from Taro Minoboshi aka Minotaro, who handled that role for Kadokawa Games' PS4 dating sim LoveR, which released this March in Japan.
Screenshots highlighting the keyboard and mouse controls and the new menuing functions can be found in the gallery below. More screenshots, this time in English, are also on the game's steam page. Lastly, the gallery also contains new artworks featuring protagonist Kaguya, God Wars: The Complete Legend exclusive character Orihime, and an official Kaguya cosplay by Saki Miyamoto, one of Japan's most popular Cosplayer.
