Kadokawa Games just released a brand new demo of God Wars: Future Past on the Japanese PSN.

The demo is titled “The Beginning Trial,” and does exactly what it says on the tin. It lets you experience the beginning of the game. It can be downloaded here, requiring 3.7 gigabytes of your bandwidth.

Save games will be compatible with the final version of the game, but of course that goes only for the Japanese version.

In order to download the demo, you need a Japanese PSN account, and if you don’t have one, you can find out how to create and maintain it in our handy guide.

The game’s western release date for PS4 and PS Vita will actually come earlier than in Japan as recently announced by publisher NIS America. God Wars: Future Past will launch in North America on March 28th, and in Europe on March 31st. Kadokawa Games just announced the Japanese release date, which is April 13th.
