It has been quite a long time since we have seen or heard anything regarding Ubisoft's Gods & Monsters. The title, which was first revealed last year during E3 2019, was scheduled to launch earlier this year, but was eventually delayed indefinitely and essentially went into hiding. Now, the game has finally reemerged, and this time, it has a bit of a different look. After reports began circling yesterday, Ubisoft made things official today and announced that Gods & Monsters has now received a name change. Immortals: Fenyx Rising is now the new title of the game. Ubisoft made the announcement over on the social media, and while no accompanying footage came with the new title, we did see the stylized new logo that it will seemingly boast.

Fortunately, while there was no new gameplay shown today, we apparently won't have to wait long to see more. Ubisoft also announced that its next Forward live stream will be transpiring next week on September 10. At this time, the publisher will have something new to show regarding Immortals: Fenyx Rising.

We still have a lot left to learn about Immortals: Fenyx Rising, but as of now, we do know that the game should be launching in Ubisoft's current fiscal year, which means it will be out before March 31, 2021. In addition, the title is set to be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, Stadia, and Switch.
