GOG Starts X-Mas Sale Early, Even Gives a Free Gift for Showing Up

The folks over at Good Old Games have already started their Christmas sale, and they have a TON of amazing classic PC games up for sale at pretty fantastic prices. And as a gesture of gratitude, they’re offering a free download of Tyrian 2000 just for stopping by and browsing their sales.

Here’s a protip for this sale, and other upcoming online game sales: $5 might not seem like much, but $5 here and $7 there, and before you know it you’ve spent $80 on over twenty games you probably won’t even play. As someone who spent over $100 on last year’s notorious Christmas Steam sale, and have yet to touch even a fraction of those games, trust me, it’s good advice.

Allen is an utter whore of a gamer; he's completely open-minded to all games, be they AAA blockbusters or $5 casual children's games. His focus is on indie games specifically, valuing gameplay and ingenuity over sparkly visuals and ridiculous gimmicks. When he's not geeking out over the newest art game, he's out toning his sexy, sculpted shoulders while surfing epic 1.5ft waves, or having a good time with local, high-gravity microbrews.
