Good Old Games Utilizes Regional Pricing For Three Upcoming Major Releases

By Dana Abercrombie

February 23, 2014

Good Old Games has announced on their blog that they will start offering three major titles for sale and pre-order; however these games will fall under regional pricing instead of the standard flat price.

We wish that we could offer these games at flat prices everywhere in the world, but the decision on pricing is always in our partners’ hands, and regional pricing is becoming the standard around the globe. Since we don’t accept currencies other than USD on right now, we’ll be charging the equivalent of the local price in USD for these titles.

While the company is staying silent about which games are being affected, they will be two RPGs and one strategy game. On the upside of this news, GOG will offer anyone who purchases or pre-orders the mysterious titles a free game from a selection (which is also unknown).
