Going to GDC? Set Up a Chance To Get Your Game Published with Devolver Digital

on January 26, 2012 3:30 PM

If you’ve got a fantastic idea for the coolest video game ever (hey, a prototype is even better) and you’re planning on going to GDC in March, set up an appointment to take a ride on the Devolver bus. You might be one of three lucky people given completion funds and a publishing contract for your game. Plus free nachos, just for pitching, along with “unmentionable shenanigans.”

To clarify that rather confusing paragraph (the press release was just as wacky, believe me): at GDC, aspiring developers will (provided that have made an appointment beforehand) be given the chance to get on a bus, and try to convince Fork Parker from Devolve Digital and convince him that their game is worth the chance. In the time it takes for the bus to circle to convection center. And there are nachos on the bus. Heck, game or not, I’d just go for the nachos.

Devolver, for those who don’t know, is the company responsible for the Serious Sam series. So if you’re interested in being one of three people (or teams, I suppose), and you’re going to be in San Fran March 5-9th, don’t forget to make a reservation by e-mailing pitchfork@devolverdigital.com with information about your game and your team. Best of luck!
