Panzer Dragoon Creator Hopes that His New Game The Good Life Will Be Playable Early Next Year

Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futasugi gave a prediction on a playable build of The Good Life, which he's co-developing with SWERY.

Today, during a panel at Bitsummit held at the Miyako Messe venue in Kyoto, Deadly Premonition creator Hidetaka “SWERY65” Suehiro and Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futasugi talked about the crowdfunding campaign of their upcoming game The Good Life.

Futasugi-san mentioned through a translator that the development team is finally able to stand at the start line of the project, and they will do their best to create the game going forward. With this game, he wanted to see if it was possible to create an open world game with a small team, and in his opinion, it’s very possible, even if we’ll have to see how it goes in the long run.

He hopes to have something playable early next year, by next BitSummit, even if it may not be the final product. He concluded by quoting Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z, and saying that “True hell is about to begin.”
