Good Old Games Will No Longer Utilizes Regional Pricing

on March 16, 2014 9:21 PM

Back in February it was reported that Good Old Games’ planned utilize regional pricing for three upcoming major releases. It looks like the company is retracting that idea. After feedback and complaints, GOG now states they will offer the same price as United States customers to all buyers worldwide.

GOG will “adamantly continue to fight for games with flat worldwide pricing,” however, if such a deal can’t be reached with publishers, they will issue refunds.

Refunds will eventually be given in store credit to be used toward any purchase, which will apply to “every single game where we do not have flat pricing,” including Age of Wonders 3Divinity: Original Sin and The Witcher 3.
