Google Stadia Price, Launch Details, and Games to be Unveiled on Thursday
In its first "Stadia Connect" steam, Google is set to unveil quite a few new details regarding its upcoming streaming platform.
Ahead of E3 2019 next week, Google has today announced that it has plans to unveil further information regarding Stadia this Thursday.
As divulged over on Twitter, Google today said that its first-ever Stadia Connect stream will be taking place this Thursday, June 6. While details of the format of this stream weren’t really given, you’d have to imagine that this is Google’s variation on the Nintendo Direct formula. The stream is set to take place that day at 12pm EST/9am PST.
As for what will be discussed during Stadia Connect, it’s all of the information that Google promised a few weeks ago would be coming. Launch information, games coming to Stadia, and most importantly, a price for the platform are all said to be given during this presentation. These are likely the biggest pieces of info that Google has yet to give regarding the streaming service up until now so these specifics will shed quite a bit of light on whether or not many will be jumping in to try Stadia out when it arrives later this year.
So what are you hoping to hear from this Stadia Connect event? What price would Stadia have to be to get you to try the service out? And when do you anticipate that it will launch? Be sure to let me know down in the comments.
Of course, we’ll be reporting on all of this new information here at DualShockers as it comes about later this week, so stay tuned.
Some news can’t wait for #E3.
