Like PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold, a Stadia Pro subscription for Google's new cloud-based platform comes with some from games. While Google was coy about how often these titles would drop in the past, it seems like they will be coming monthly. At launch, Stadia Pro members (so everyone who owns Google Stadia at this point) got Bungie's Destiny 2 and SNK's Samurai Shodown for free. This month, Crystal Dynamic's Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Giants Software's Farming Simulator 19: Platinum Edition are the free games.

These new Stadia Pro titles will be redeemable come 9am PST on December 1, 2019. Due to how Stadia works, Pro members will simply have to redeem them on the store within the app and can instantly play them. That being said, you will lose access to the games if your subscription lapses, something PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscribers should be familiar with. Even though a Stadia Pro subscription will already net you 4 games, 18 other games are still available for purchase. If you want to see how much games cost on Google Stadia you should check out DualShockers' Buyer's Guide.

All of Stadia Pro's free games so far have been very good. Still, it is a bit frustrating that two launch titles will become free for a majority of users less than two weeks after their Stadia release. Quite a few Stadia users may have already bought one or both of the titles, especially when Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition was discounted to $10, making it the cheapest game on the storefront at launch. While this is a problem that will go away with time, it sheds light on an issue programs like this can have so close to a system's launch.

As I mentioned, Farming Simulator 19: Platinum Edition and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition are both already available on Google's platform, but Stadia Pro members will be able to redeem them for free on December 1. You can also check out our review of the platform itself.
